HOW DO I JOIN?
Simply print a membership form off the web site and bring it to the Sunderland Aquatic Centre on a Wednesday night (7-8pm). Ask at reception to be put in touch with the on duty coach, usually Amanda Cantle. Alternatively, you can come along to one of the run or bike sessions, where there's usually a committee member who can take your form. You can download a form by clicking here (link is to a .doc file)
HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO PAY?
You have two options if you want to join Sun City Tri.
Option 1. Swimming Membership.
This costs £35 per year which includes £25 annual membership to City of Sunderland Amateur Swimming Club (who we have to join in order to access club swimming sessions), the other £10 goes to Sun City.
You then have to pay either:- £25 per month which enables you to swim Mon-Fri 5.30am-7am & 7pm-8pm
OR
£20 per month which gives you Mon & Wed nights 7-8pm (we are hopeful of adding Fri night to this package but this is not yet available). The Wednesday session is in 50m lanes, the Monday one is in 25m lanes.
Both swimming options give you access to structured swimminng sessions and the Monday and Wednesday evening ones will have a triathlon coach present to help with stroke development and improvement.
Option 2. Non-Swimming Membership
This costs £10 per year. However you will not be able to swim with the club at the Aquatic centre sessions.
You will have to make your own swimming arrangements, either swimming at the public sessions or swimming at another pool of your choice.
