After the swim it was a quick dash out of the pool shouting your number to the marshals. Not your swim time to the other
The bike route was undulating to say the least with a few granny gear hills (lowest gear), but what goes up must come down, so there were some nice fast sections, such as the one after the left turn by the church, which led onto some nice twisting downhill (big cogs, big cogs). The marshals were top notch with directions back into T2 where my fingers didn't quite work because of the wind chill so after fumbling like a teenager at a bra strap, it was onto the run via the top exit.
Ah, the run, a long climb after a quick bout of cramp (mental note do more brick sessions) down towards a left hand turn onto a path through a Dene. A quick grimace for the camera, back onto the main roads and then past a pub wondering if they were serving yet (no, no, no later) and then the finishing flags were in sight, job done.
