Sun City Triathlon Swim Information
Swim: 750m, 1 lap sea swim
Water temperature will be around 12 oC so wetsuits will be compulsory.
You will be provided with a numbered swim hat. Please wear this in addition to any other hats you wear. This is for your safety, so we can check the number of people still in the water.
The swim will be a massed start on the beach.
Weaker swimmers are recommended to start at the back of the field.
The swim will be one triangular lap, swimming clockwise, with the buoys always on your right side.
When you exit the water, run up the beach to the steps marked with large flags.
Remove your numbered swim hat and throw or hand to the marshal.
Continue up the steps and turn left into the transition area.
